On my old TS-930, I plan to use the transverter (XVTR)
plug on the back of the radio to feed in the RX antenna
separately.

It has a place where the TX antenna's received signal
goes out, and gets back looped in to the radio's
receiver ... or not, you can intercept and change it :)
