Topband: Exceptional opening to ZL-land

Hi Topbanders

 

Yesterday evening at about 1645Z we were suprised with sudden opening to New
Zealand. There were ZL3IX and ZL2BYZ with solid s7 signals on band working
many European stations.

I have not heard for years so strong signals from that distance on topband.
Band was open to Eastern Europe and to us in OH. Hope many topbanders got a
new one.
