Ladies and Gents,
Please as you do your yearly antenna building/repair chores give some thought
to protecting yourselves from Mosquitos and ticks. Lyme disease is
particularly bad here in Maryland and throughout the northeastern part of the
country. Check with your health professional for the recommended topical
deterrent if necessary but do it now. I can tell you from past experience
Lyme's is nothing to sneeze at and can cause life changing health problems.
When you come in from working in the woods, field or even you back yard make
sure you immediately take a shower to wash any hitchhikers off of you and down
the drain. Remember that the ticks that cause Lyme di sease are very small and
may be missed by even the closest scrutiny if you are not careful, it is always
best to have someone else inspect your hair etc for you.
