One more vote for the HiZ.

I have the four element since 2012. It's NOT a perfect installation at my
QTH...trees all around, not that far from the fence. I'm in central NC, clay
soil, with 50 kV power lines about 1/8 mile away to north. But it works, and
works well even with my compromised setup.

I have recordings to support my conclusions about its performance, DX that I
have heard and worked.

The complete package cost me about $1300. That's turnkey, everything included.
Easy setup (if I can do it, anyone can).

It was not cheap. But I did not have the room for the long beverages and I
really wanted to work some serious DX on 80 and 160. And I have. Worth every
penny. Excellent quality. Technical support was (and is) fabulous. No
regrets.

How good is the system? Two weeks after installation, 14 December 2012, I
worked XU1A on 80 meter SSB long path. No-one else could hear him well enough
for a QSO. Transmit antenna was an inverted L with 300 watts. That's a real
golden nugget in my logbook from the past 42 years of hamming.
