I would suggest putting a 50 ohm dummy load on one end and measuring SWR with your MFJ from the other end. Won’t be a perfect match but around 1.5’to 1.7. The key indicator of cable integrity is when you vary the frequency of your MFJ the SWR should stay relatively constant versus jumping all over. If SWR varies widely, I’d bet the cable is bad.
