I took my 8 circle receiving array down two weeks ago before it got
blown up by the summer lightning. It has been blown up 3 times in the
past three summers despite fitting coaxial relays to protect the antenna
inputs. So now I have learnt to bring the amplifier boxes inside before
the lightning gets under way with a vengeance.

Antennas were in Farmer's fields, so they've had to take them down . . . but
there's a couple of Contests coming up, and I bet there's lots of stations
coming on then !
It's a real shame there isn't more activity.
