Topband: Condx to VK this morning

Interesting conditions. signals from VK shifted from direct to JA and back 
again. Sometimes within the same CQ  sequence. I've not seen this kind of swing 
before. Well after sunrise heard Phil, VK6GX, on the NW path. Couldn't hear him 
earlier when others were. All signals from ZL and VK were weaker than normal 
and had an aurora-like watery sound to them. 



Last night S9OK was quite loud on 160. 3DA0RU was heard but not well enough to 
work. Only about Q3 or so here in NC.
