Well I came on for a couple of hours but in all that time I never heard any
other G station!
Condition were reasonable with 22 NA contacts but mostly East Coast. Two strong
Caribbeans especially ZF9CW who was peaking S8. I was surprised as my phone
gave an Aurora watch alarm just as I came on to the band. Quite a few EU here
of course but activity seemed a lot lower than usual. I did not hear any Far
Eastern at all although DU7ET has been workable here several evenings in the
last few weeks. I have now just taken down my 80 ft vertical for the
Spring/Summer so that I can mow the lawn but I will still be active using my
invL which actually works very well.
