Nice to work you last night Andy.
The polar path into Europe has been open for the last 4 nights in spite of the
elevated geo-mag and increased solar wind.
I must say it has surprised me since with these solar numbers it's usually time
for TV or other things.
The best opening was Oct 27 when my CQs had numerous RBN hits into Europe.
Last night I worked OK1CF, SM5EDX, OZ4MM and DL8LAS.
Yesterday I worked OZ4MM, OH3XR and SM5EDX so it was a N. EU focus. It was nice
to work Marko OH3XR again since our last QSO was in 2021!
So far this season, since August I have worked 52 EU (18 unique calls) on 160m
CW which is far better than I would expect at this time in the solar cycle.
