Hi Roger, ref the NR-1, I bought one to see if it would make any difference at
my station.
It's well built and comes fully tested.
It is designed for a specific type of noise as outlined in your post.
For my noise, it made no difference - probably because it's wideband and coming
from all angles.
I will be moving mine on - it was worth a try - if any interest, please email
me - Dave g3rcq

Having read the Handbook for this device, it looks like it is just for
pulse-noise (like ignition, or electric fences etc) . . . but removing it
BEFORE it gets into the Receiver, unlike the usual Noise Blanker circuits
that are in the I.F.

My local noise on all the low bands is just wideband hash from various
neighbours dirty switch-mode PSUs. The Noise Blankers in my rigs don't
reduce it at all . . . so I'm presuming that neither would this unit?

As per the previous post, I wonder if anyone has used it?
