AS you did I saw the QST ads for the Rohn RTP towers. Rohn has a web page
and I left them a message that I would like info. This after I asked HRO
and two or three other dealers and got nowhere. I got back a short letter
and a booklet "Rohn, Self-Supporting Towers for Amateur Radio."

The RTP is a special packaging of the SSV series.

Depending on what you want this is all spelled out in the booklet. Too much
detail to explain without the booklet.

One section is 10' and the rest are 20'. You will need a crane!

smallest sections are 1' 10" (22") so no problem with most ham rotators!
3Wb is the normal top section and its 2' 2" or 26".

I have a friend with an older SSV tower (100'). It sways about 2 feet at
the top with a 200lb person putting up a 20 meter 4 el beam.
There is a 90' SSV tower for sale on rec.radio.swap by WB1S for $2,000 ( in
maine)..which is down and ready for pickup.
