Hi, Lynn --

      I don't remember that it has any sort of tensile strength rating.  Do
you know strength you're looking for?  That is, for your load and county wind
speed rating, how much strength do you need?  

     There was one installed here in Western Washington some years ago.  The
guy that was removing it said it was pretty scarey.  When he stepped on the
right peg, the whole thing leaned to the right.  When he stepped on the left
peg, the whole thing leaned to the left.  He finally had a crane come in to
lift it out.  My opinion?  Get a real SAE carbon steel mast and put your own
steps on it (easily fabricated out of angle iron and U-bolts with saddles).
