Cement curing time....

You can probably slice the sonotube off after 24 hours. 48 would be safer. 
but be very gentle with the pry bars.

The concrete will develop about 80% strength in a week and close to %100 in 
28 days unless you get some special fast cure mix.

I would definitely keep it wet with old rugs or rags for at least the first 
week to promote maximum strength.

I wouldn't put the tower up till a week has gone by.

Hi all:

Ok, all you civil engineering types and persons 
who have experience with this... 

I'm putting in a second tower, a 70' crank-up, 
and am planning on using a sonotube (five feet in 
diamater by six feet deep) as a form.

Any hints as to what I can expect for curing time?
