Shunt fed tower..radials

I guess I forgot to metion..I have an aluminum plate with 30 radials (solid
14 ga. coated) ranging from 135' (12 of those) to 35' (10 so far), a total
of about 2500' of wire.  I'm adding more, but that seems like a good start.

I'm wondering what the ideal distance for the gamma match is for my setup.
Is 38" too far?  Am I wasting my time trying to load a tower with 7' of
radiator buried in the ground?
