If I may impose on your experiences one more time, I have another 105BAS vs
105CAS question. I Have completed my 105BAS and it's ready to go on the
tower. I went to extra trouble to secure the element to boom brackets with
s/s sheet metal screws, also I secured all parts of the beta match to make
it as heavy duty as possible. I could change and un-do all this, and reset
the antenna to the 105CAS measurments but it would be a L O T of trouble.
I wonder if the DB gain, about .8, and f/b improvment 7db and pattern
correction, would be worth the trouble ??? Anyone have any real life
practical improvments to report? Side by side a-b type tests etc?
Thanks, Mick...W4YV
