Welcome to Texas.  If you live in the unincorporated area of Texas, =
there is no such thing as a permit for anything except a well, septic =
system, or carrying a concealed weapon!  Your house is not required to =
be built to any codes, wired to any codes, or plumbed to any codes =
(except propane).  Look at any cc&r's that are on your title for any =
restrictions or setback requirements put on it by previous owners or =
developers.  Usually can't have pigs or a junkyard, but may contain any =
restriction.=20

If you live in any city limits, all bets are off.  FAA gets involved in =
towers at 200 feet height.
