Howdy all,

Will tell you one thing, it takes a real man to put the end of a piece
of 5/16" EHS thru a large insulator and turn it back to slide the sleeve
up. I'm not talking about putting it 3 feet from the insulator either.
Up close and personal. If you don't work out on a regular basis, you
will feel it for days.

Looking at them after I was done, I was still a bit unsure of the
gripping, but all is well years later.

BTW, the tool for 5/16" isn't for the anemic, it stands about waist high
and cost $270 8 years ago.

My advice is to go with the 1/4" EHS if possible. The bigger stuff is
too hard to work with and twice as expensive in the long run. Every
thing costs more and is not as readily available as the hardware for
the 1/4.

Also, I have seem nicropress tools with combination jaws for 1/4 and
3/16 on the same head. That's the way to go if you can find one of
these.
