1000MP. No contest. I had a 850S here and it just fell over with a 40m
yagi. Sold it quick. Tried a 990 from a local. A bit better but not much
and no second RX. 1000MP currently the best all rounder. Maybe Ten Tec
Omni 6 better on CW but not a good phone radio.
Or you could get a couple (or three) TS930's for the same money and that
is a damn good radio.
