Those interested in this can use a search engine to find discussions
of the "Reflections" controversy in the Usenet category
rec.radio.amateur.antenna. Searching for "conjugate match" and Walt Maxwell's
name and callsign will yield the other subject line handles to tens of
thousands of lines of debate by guys with very impressive EE credentials. I
don't recall the exact tally of folks supporting the two positions, but have
been looking for a copy of "Reflections" ever since!
