Marine hardware stores carry a lot of galvanized and stainless steel
bolts, nuts, washers, and the like. Boat Trailers are almost all
galvanized nowadays, and they use BIG galvanized u-Bolts. Find out
who makes those trailers.

The Rohn caltalog lists two 4 inch hot dip galvanized u-bolts:
p/n JR62A 6" long x 4" between legs x 3/8" diameter
p/n JR89A 6.5" long x 4" between legs x 1/2" diameter
