I am in process of changing a few things on my tower and have it folded
down for a day or so to do work.
After installing the tower and extending it fully, I discovered I had
way too much excess cable between the coax sidearms. I have attached a
steel messenger cable between each side arm to support several runs of
coax and a heavy rotor cable. Therefore the coax does not slide through
the hoops but instead falls into four loops when the tower is retracted.
Does anyone know for sure the distance between side arms when the 89 ft
tower is extended? I imaging the TX572 tower has the same distance as
well!
Thanks!!
