Brian, K3KO measured S-meter on his TS-450 using 64dB attenuator and
Tyler, K3MM pointed out that second gadget was also tested!
I am not surprised with the figures quoted as I note perfect match in
S9+10 to S9+20dB range and then optimistic figures bellow that.
I guess marketing people prefer high S-meter readings on weak signals
:-)
Last 10dB are very expensive but small improvements come cheaply...
