Look for the same problem in larger wire, Jeffrey - it will be the same
copper at a greater weight, so the effect will be similar. We have sold
miles of 18 AWG solid copper clad steel (30%cu) for beverages over the
years and it works great. Cheap, too, at $37.00/1000ft. Other
choices(insulated, etc) available, too.
