Hi Daniel - for me, any tower I have ever used made me feel good as long as it
was properly engineered
And installed according to spec. When winds start kicking I point into it and
if the winds predicts are for
Higher than design spec, I bring it down. Out in the pacific in typhoon alley
we pay attention to
Predicts and don't mess with spec unless it is to beef up the system. "One more
bag of cement Sam"
Some things to consider are your soil type, drainage and thing like that so
you know what to expect and
With crank ups I could not emphasize more the need for periodic maintenance.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Tower Height Apprehension????
OK all you old timers that have had towers for years.
This being my first crank up tower that was put up last August.
With winter winds not hurricane force. How did you feel during
the first year with your beam moving about having your tower up?
Thanks,
