I've always thought that one of those aluminum poles used to hold
swimming pool cleaning stuff would work for a temporary field day type
light antenna support.
They collapse within themselves to about 7-8' for travel, and are heavy
enough to hold a TA-33 Jr., use as a vertical, etc. They won't quite
make 25' when fully extended, however.
They will mount just fine to the top of my 1969 VW Pop Topper Bus.
