I talked to Art K1ART at CC a few days ago and he says they have shipped over
100 of the X9's already.
He's not sure exactly when it will be in production, but the long awaited
XM240? (the beefed and refined version of the 402CD) should be out sometime
before Dayton. Sounds like it'll be about $600 on the street.
Electrically the same as the 402 with a 90 or 100 mph rating with a 1.25
safety factor. Phillystran truss. Both elements insulated from the boom and
similar hardware to the X9. It will also include a 1:1 current balun.
Also in the works are a new multiband vertical and 5 el monobanders using dual
driven elements and boomlengths similar to the 5el Hygains.
CC has had a total change of management and is now ISO9001 certified with a
new comittment to quality products.
