Dave,

Thanx for providing your valuable input, it's a very interesting site.

I was told by the County Enginnering office that the declination for
this location (Sussex County, NJ) was about -11.5 degrees. When I
ran the program on this site I was astonished to find that it reported
the current declination as -13 degrees. I wondered why this was so.
So I ran the program for the period of the last 40 years, in steps of
5 years. To my surprise the declination changed over 2 degrees
over that time period. So be careful where you get your data,
USGS maps, engineers, etc. The data you get may no longer be accurate.

This may have no bearing (no pun) on HF antenna orientation, but for the
VHFer or EMEer using narrow beam-width arrays this may pose a problem.
