[TowerTalk] Protective Coatings for Beams

Since I live right beside the ocean this has been something that has
crossed my mind. I didn't want to goof up the beam so I have done
nothing to "weatherize" it. What would happen if you hand rubbed a
light coat of White Lithium Grease on only the aluminum?
