Why did n't K0CS have a piece of guy wire running from the thimble on
the "down running" guy wire, through the turnbuckle, and on THROUGH THE
EYE OF THE ANCHOR ???? Why go to the overkill of having a second anchor
when a simple piece of wire will "back up" the anchor bolt cited below?
Maybe there is no opening in the eye for such a "back up" wire, but if
not, another method of attaching can be made short of a whole second
anchor just sitting there waiting for the most unlikely of failures.
But then, read about the "bad bolts" sold in USA from foreign makers!
