Hi Pat. Not sure what the differences are, but no, it is not
VaporWrap. It's made for sealing electrical connections and
boxes. It would have a real high voltage rating, and may be ok.
It even looks a lot like VaporWrap, but is used in much thicker
wraps. Never used it on connectors, so can't speak with any
authority on it's value. I have used it sealing sink drains. Worked well!
Also, I've used it on conduit entrances, as well as building coax
entrances, and again, it worked well. I doubt that it could be worked
down to remove air like the VaporWrap, howver.
