Hi Jim,

I see you have already gotten a few suggestions for the 4 element "Lazy
Vee" array.  I would like to throw out a similar but different
alternative.

It's called the "FVR Spitfire Array" and you can learn more about it at
the following link...

or you can get there from   www.contesting.com as well (which is how I
found it).  It's a copy of a presentation by John Kaufmann W1FV and Fred
Hopengarten, K1VR (FVR!!).  I can't vouch for it's performance, but had
gotten similar gain and pattern results modeling parasitic circular
arrays.  However, from a space and ground wire perspective I find this
proposal very enticing.
