As I understand it, raising the legs will raise your feedpoint resistance,
it will change your pattern as well and I'd guess improve overall
performance ... though you will lose a little of the neo-vertical take-off
angle characteristics ... it would be interesting to read your reports of
changes in performance after you make this change. I have a similar
antenna and was thinking of getting the legs up higher ... mine is a
drooping dipole with doglegs at each end. 73, DavidC AA1FA
