Thanks to all who responded to my "top band antenna" question. Sure is =
a lot of good info on the reflector and I appreciate the help.
Now...I bought this Gap Voyager years ago and it's never worked. No big =
surprise based on the experience of others. However, I'm sitting here =
with a 45 foot aluminum pole with a top hat on it. Why not short out =
the center fed sections and related stuff. Then add some radials and =
drive it like any other vertical but confine its use to 160. Has anyone =
ever done this? How would I feed it to get it to resonate?
