Hello tower folks,
I have a 54' Tristao Tower (old, but still good!).
I want to remove the hand crank and install a motorized winch. I don't have any
weight information but assume
that it is similar to others of the same height. Looking for information (or
recommendations) on sizing
(horsepower), AC or DC, and what might be available over the counter, i.e.,
Granger etc.
Mechanically I have the equipment and expertise to do the job, but curious
about sizing, positive pull down,
ideal shaft rpm, etc.
In this area I am information impaired. Anyone a guru that can guide me?
