Jan- I would like to suggest that you consider using the program "Geoclock"
with the Ham option. This program will come with a large collection of maps
at different levels of detail, and has one great circle map custom set to
your location .  He will take your location as latitude and longitude, grid
square, zip code, or almost anything else.

With this program, you can enter a call prefix, and it will give you the
country data, the bearings (short path and long) to and from the call
reference, and the times here and there.  

Sunrise and set times are posted. It also marks the spot on the map and
shows the short path line. It has daylight and grey lines shown, which
change in real time.  I use it as a screen saver, letting it cycle through
the maps in random order, which is very educational.
