Hello all'

I have recently acquired a Hy-Gain HG-37SS crankup tower. I'm having a =
little trouble figuring which type of concrete I need to use. The specs =
from Hy-Gain/Telex call for 2000psi concrete. My local suppliers talk =
about 3000psi concrete, although their sales folks can't tell me what =
the number actually means. The only concrete in Home Depot that has any =
kind of rating calls itself 5000psi contractors grade.

My main question is: What is the lowest cost method of mixing/obtaining =
concrete that meets the Telex spec? Should I buy Portland cement and =
gravel agracet and mix my own? I need only one yard. =20

Next question: I have two antennas available for this tower. One is a =
KLM KT-34A and the other is a Hy-Gain TH5/Mk2. Which will work best =
with a yet to be procured 40m dipole? =20

Thanks
Hank, N1YDY
