I think so too!
We are also in ageement about telling everyone to follow or seek sound
engineering
when doing anything that can pose risk to life and property.
We never run into this when discussing SWR and radials.

I will continue to offer discussion where I feel it can enhance the knowledge of
others.These discussions will exist on their own merit and will hopefully not be
too encumbered by the already well established cookbook engineering principles.
Otherwise, why have the discussion. The cookbooks have already been published.
It is pertinent to note that they are also a work in progress, witnessed by the
many changes that have occured.
I don't think I ever have, nor ever will encourage someone to do something
stupid.
I'm counting on you to be around to provide the reminder.
I think it's healthy to "step outside the box" every once in a while and have a
look at things.
That's usually when we learn the most.
Remember, discussing life outside the box is different from actually living
outside the box.
That's when one really needs to exercise caution.
