Hi Group,
I have come across a large rotator, with no manual or information. It
was used to turn a large commercial log-periodic.
The control panel has a company name of "Lunar" Sioux City, Iowa
printed in the direction indicator. The rotator is a 1/2 hp electric
motor driving a Borg / Warner gear box. I have not found any model
numbers on it. There is a rf flanged connection on the side of the unit
and another on the top mounting plate. A good guess is that this thing
weighs > 200 lbs.
Does anybody know if "Lunar" still exists ? If someone has some
written information on these types of rotors, I'll be happy to pay for
copying and postage.
And will this turn and hold a 2 meter 13B2 ?? :)
Thanks for your help. 73 and be careful,
Mat W3UUM
