Or you can use solid if you "crown it" so the center is higher than the
ends and the condensate has a place to go. This is not always practical.

In this part of the world we have a problem with condensation inside pipes

such. The condensation (from water vapor in the atmosphere) will condense
and
collect in the worst possible places. I have found that the 4 inch
corrugated
plastic pipe WITH drain holes works fine to let the water drain away and
keep
cables inside from water damage.
