My Mosley TA-33 died this past winter. High vswr and no receive on all
three bands. I took the driven element down to see what I could see. When
I put it up, there was no balun for the driven element. just coax right to
the driven element. ground half the driven element and shield of the
coax.. The center conductor of the coax to the other half of the driven
elements.
I see on the Mosley-Electronics web page that the TA-33-M now comes with a
"Mosley-Match " balun.
Anyone have an idea what that is ?
I want to put something on the driven element this time (I learned
something in the last 30 years).
