Found a couple of sources for wire rope so far:
W. W. Granger sells Champ Cable Products galvanized steel cable in a 7
X 19 style weave. They have it listed in 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 inch
diameters. It's sold by 250 ft roll. Example, the 3/16 costs $75 for
250 ft (shipping extra). They have many facilities nationwide and
therefore don't have one central phone number, check your yellow pages.
Small Parts Inc (800-423-9009) has stainless cables in some small sizes
(1/32, 3/64, 1/16, 3/32) and it is available uncoated and also nylon
coated which would be good for tram lines, etc.
Have a line on some local places also. I will post any additional
info.
