The first section (120 feet) of the new 745 foot WJW-TV tower in Parma, Ohio,
(near Cleveland) is due to go up Tuesday morning, 7/13. Although spectators
are not officially welcome, there are offsite viewing areas close enough to
get a good look. The gin pole erection of the rest is expected to start the
next day, and should take 2-3 weeks, weather and other factors permitting.
The site is located at State and West Pleasant Valley Roads in Parma. The
best off site viewing is from Doc's Shake Shop on State Road.
