[TowerTalk] Weathered Copper

Hi:

I have an 80 meter dipole in need of repair, one leg broke off at the
feed point.  However, the copper is oxidized (brown in color) and I
can't solder it.  I used tarnex to attempt and clean it, but it didn't
work.

What else can I try to clean up the copper (14 ga 7 strand) so I can
resolder it?
