Probably good advice Steve. At the local contest station, we use the Orion
2800 on a full size 3 el DX Engineering 40 mtr yagi @165'. It has done a
good job, although it has required some repairs over the past 3 years.
However, the worm gear approach the Big Boy uses should be much better in
terms of overall strength, braking, and longevity. Time will tell.
