Guys,
I received a LOOS guy tension gauge recently.
I am embarrassed to report how far my guys were
from spec. They were tensioned by the "that seems
tight enough" method in the absence of any way to
measure them.
Spec was 400 pounds. One measured set measured
250# the second under 200#.
In retrospect, putting 400 pounds on tension on
the guy is like having four 200 pounders pulling
with all their might on the guy.
Enough said.
