Copper clad, while more expensive, does give you better conductivity to
ground. Check with McMaster-Carr Supply Co. -- They have every type,
length, thickness of ground rod you could ever think of. You might pay a
little more but get exactly what you want or need.

In my area the only ground rods readily available are steel, in lengths of
8' and 10'. Is it advisable to use these (apparently the Power Company
does), or is copper clad steel the rod of choice?
