This is one of the antennas featured in ON4UN's new book,
"Low Band DXing" from ARRL.
It can be designed for any HF band; it is a 4-square, made up
of 4 vertical half-wave dipoles . The dipoles are attached at a
height on the tower that is roughly a half wave length above
ground. The center insulators are pulled out from the tower
until a 30 -45 degree angle is formed. The bottom halves of
the dipoles are folded back and secured to the bottom of the
tower. All tip ends of all dipoles are spaced about 10 feet from
the tower with rope extensions. These play really well with a
good ground screen under the array. I am seeing 22 db F-B
and 28 db F-S with my 80m version.
