Not so fast. Galvanizers will no longer accept anything
that has paint on it. EPA regulations. So those of you who
have done so in the past will get a rude awakening.
So you must sandblast before regalvanizing.
I had 220 feet of tower sandblasted for $600. Then I had
to pay $30 per hundred weight for regalvanizing.
So you can't skip the step that Steve went through.
