These are outlet protectors as you indicated. Service panel
protectors are manufactured by PolyPhaser. I would
contact Ron Block of W R Block & Associates in southern NJ
at (I think) 800 421 7170. PolyPhaser factory primarily deals
only with commercial accounts.

There is a dual line telephone protector. I believe the model #
is IS-DPTL. Again, contact Ron for details.

Ron is Roger Block's brother and Roger founded PolyPhaser.
Ron is a ham and knows ham priorities.

Dear Antenna & Lightning Protection Colleagues:

I discovered this list on the AES site http://www.aesham.com/ply.shtml :

PLY ISPLDO12015A POLYPHASER 120V 15A PROTECTOR 172.95
PLY ISPLDO12020A POLYPHASER 120V 20A PROTECTOR 215.95

The first two will cover outgoing power to the tower and the well, but
what
are folks using for the incoming power main? Or do we rely on whatever the
power company has done ... plus local surge protector strips in the shack?

Note: The breaker panel sits right above the operating position and the
main power feed and meter are directly behind it outside. If lightning gets
through to that panel I hate to think what may happen in the shack!

PLY ISSPTL POLYPHASER SINGLE PH PROTECT 57.95

Do I guess correctly that this is for the incoming phone lines? Since I
have
two lines I suppose I need two if these? I do have a 6 line AT&T MOV-type
phone/data line protection device http://www.hosfelt.com/ . May I use that
instead? May I use the unused 4 additional lines to defend the data lines
from
the weather station sensors?

- Thanks for any and all assistance! & 73, DavidC K1YP
