I think he's referring to the CALIBRATE switch/pot on the control box.
His must have been "pressed in" or ON - makes it read 180 (full scale)
NO MATTER WHAT! There's no light or anything to indicate that it's ON
etc. I'll bet he's really mad! HI Sounds like something I would do.
